My husband and I found out that we wouldn’t be able to have our own children after years of going through a few treatments. I was beyond depressed by the fact I couldn’t have the one and only thing I’d been praying for, a child. Well, turns out my cousin was pregnant. I had no idea how to even start the process of adopting. After about a week I found Mark and his office, and thank God. He explained how this type of adoption would work (Independent/private adoption). So, we got the papers started as soon as possible. Mark and his team worked tirelessly for us. Every single time there was a road block, they got us through it. If it was not for these people, we wouldn’t have our son, who is literally our entire world. Adopting can be very hard rough road particularly when the birth mother lives in a different state but if you have Mark and his team behind you, then thank Jesus, because you are going to have people who actually care about you and your family’s well-being during the entire process. Our case was probably one of the hardest they have had to deal with, and somehow it was all done and completed in less than 5 months! Although our son was exposed to some very harsh drugs in the womb, he came out in perfect health. He is the missing piece to our family, and it’s now complete with him here. It just brings both of us to tears knowing that he will grow up in a home where he is loved, cared for, and will have a chance to become a good person. We take pride in the fact that he will grow up in a loving environment and not the one he would have been born into. I may not have given birth to him, but we feel that he was our son from the moment we laid eyes on him. We really can’t thank Mark and his team enough for working so hard for us.
