Hi, we’re Laura & Eric. We have an amazing marriage, a large, loving, & diverse extended family, and a goofy giant poodle that loves kids. We live in a warm cozy home in a smaller, family-friendly metropolitan area full of trails, parks, great schools, and great neighborhoods. The only thing missing is a child we can love, cherish, and raise together.

We’ve been married almost four years. We met by happenstance on a community snow-shoeing trip and have been inseparable best friends ever since, cherishing every day we’ve been given.

Laura has an incredible way with children and all the kids in our lives: nieces and nephews, truly love her. She takes incredibly good care of our home and is ready to devote herself to raise children as a stay-at-home mom. Eric works outside the home as a small business advisor and is excited to be a dad to little kids again (he has two teenagers from a prior marriage, one of whom lives with us).

We love all types of indoor & outdoor activities… hiking, camping, gardening, road-trips, cooking, and we’re also both musically inclined. Both of us play piano and Eric even has an Associates degree in piano/music! We can’t wait to share all of this with our future children.

The desire to adopt is etched deeply into our hearts and we’ve prepared room in our home as much as in our hearts to welcome an adopted child into our family. The nursery is ready and decorated, and we’ve even purchased a brand new crib from Ikea already!
