We love to visit our family in Destin and spend time on the beach each Summer.

Reading is very important to us and a love of reading will be instilled from day one.
Our family is big on traditions and keeping our family close. We visit neighborhoods with Christmas lights, make cookies, put out reindeer food and decorate the tree together.
It rarely snows in Mississippi but we fully appreciate it when it does!
We visited Mount Rushmore on one of our road trips across the country to visit Rhett’s birth family.
We make cookies and cakes every few weeks and we have the best helper.
Music is so important to us. We will pick out one to sing every day to our next little one as well.
Rhett will ask us, “You want some sugar, mama?” He will be the best big brother!

Hi! We are Kim and Josh, a very active and loving family. We met in college and always wanted to start our family young. We adopted our first baby, Rhett, almost three years ago and are so proud of our sweet boy. He keeps us smiling and on our toes! We live in a close community with several friends and are about 15 minutes from a larger city. Our favorite thing to do is to travel and visit new places. Our favorite place so far has been Yellowstone that we plan to visit often. We also love visiting the beach each year and the mountains. Rhett loves playing in the water so any opportunity to jump in, is a fun trip for all of us!
Kim is a fifth grade teacher who enjoys going to work each day to help her kids grow. She is loved dearly by her kids and always takes time to help tutor them and is very actively involved in the school and community. She gets holidays and summers off, which is a huge blessing. She spends a lot of time playing with Rhett and helping him learn. She has instilled a love for books and music in him. He is constantly bringing books to us to read over and over.
Josh grew up in the country and works offshore. He enjoys staying busy and working with his hands. He gets three entire weeks off at a time to spend at home with Rhett. He teaches him how to work on things at home and loves to spend time with his “little buddy.” He even has a special song, “Amarillo by Morning,” that they sing together each night before bed. It is so precious to listen to their song each night. I know he will pick out another special song for our next baby.
Our greatest joy has come from being parents and we absolutely can not wait to add to our sweet family again. Thank you so much for considering our family!
