A little about us: we both spent a lot of our childhood in the Spokane area. We began dating after each of us graduated high school. We got married in 2010 in North Carolina, but moved back because we know this will be a great place to raise a family, near our own family. 

Chris, an IT professional, can’t wait to grow our family through adoption because he was also adopted. This unique perspective will help our child appreciate their history. Tracy, a high school teacher, is excited because she spends every day surrounded by kids and can’t wait to come home to our own. Even though we are waiting to be parents, we have learned a lot of patience and care by spending a lot of our time with our nephews and raising our two rescue dogs. 

 In 2016, we bought our amazing home on 20 acres and have been pouring work and a lot of love into it since. When we aren’t working on our home, we enjoy playing cards together, spending time with our families at the lake and exploring local restaurants, watching kung fu movies, cooking delicious meals, going to plays and comedy shows, and hiking with our dogs. This year we also started a garden that is now packed full of tomatoes, zucchini, peppers, and cucumbers.
